Overview: Chronic pain is an extremely common and debilitating condition that leads to tremendous morbidity and mortality. This session is designed as a fun (and G-rated!) adaptation of the childhood game Truth or Dare to reinforce the neurobiology and treatment of chronic pain. This game is designed to be played in two groups. The session can be done in 45-60 minutes. Teams collect points for each correctly answered truth or correctly completed dare, with harder challenges earning more points.

Author Affiliation: Erica Baller, MD, MS is a Consultation-Liaison Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. Joseph J. Cooper, MD and Ashley Walker, MD were contributing editors for this session.
